Hotels In The Land Between The Lakes

Hotels near Land Between the Lakes are in the surrounding towns, not inside the recreation area. The best choice depends on where you plan to enter the park the next morning. Start with the hotel, inn and lodge options in our lodging guide, then check the property’s location and current availability before booking.

Choose a side of the lakes

For a north-end visit, compare Grand Rivers, Kuttawa and Eddyville. Cadiz works for Lake Barkley and the eastern approaches. Benton, Aurora and Murray make sense for Kentucky Lake or the western approaches. Dover is an option if your day is focused on LBL’s southern end. A room that looks close on a map can still mean a long drive around the lakes, so check your actual route into the park.

Hotel, cabin or lodge?

A hotel is a practical base if you want an easy overnight stop and restaurants nearby. A cabin or house gives your group more room and often a kitchen; see the cabins and cottages section for those. If you want a state-park lodge or an inn, compare that section of the lodging hub as well. Don’t assume every property has a lake view or direct park access.

Before you book

  • Check the driving time to the specific LBL entrance or trailhead you plan to use, not just the distance to the park boundary.
  • Confirm the total price, cancellation terms, pet policy and accessibility details with the booking provider.
  • For a late arrival or an early trail start, confirm check-in and breakfast hours directly.
