Canal Loop Trail

In the northern end of LBL, the Canal Loop Trail runs along an 11-mile loop which includes three connectors resulting in trails ranging from 1.5 miles to 11 miles. The Canal Loop is one of LBL’s most popular trails, offerings incredible lake views and the a chance for hikers to enjoy a shorter trip.

The Canal Loop Trail is very popular on the weekends with heavy use by mountain bikers and hikers so be sure to watch for other visitors. While the Canal Loop can be busy, it is one of the most convenient hiking trails at the Land Between the Lakes.
